Commonly asked: Wedding FAQ

  • Elopement
An elopement is small, intimate, and focused on the couple. It can be just the two of you or up to 10 guests. Coverage usually runs 2–4 hours and is about telling your story in a simple, cinematic way, whether that’s City Hall, a hidden corner of NYC, or somewhere outdoors.

    Wedding
A wedding is a larger celebration with anywhere from 50 to about 200 guests. It follows a fuller timeline, from getting ready through ceremony, portraits, and reception, and typically runs 5–10 hours of coverage.

  • Think about guest count and structure. If it’s under 10 people and focused on the two of you, it’s an elopement. If it’s a bigger celebration with a full reception, it’s a wedding.

Commonly Asked

  • My standard delivery is 100-150 images!

  • Absolutely! I work with a lot of intention and incorporate color harmony into each session. I provide styling guides and will help you with your wardrobe.

  • I don’t modify bodies or change the way you naturally look. I photograph honestly, with care and intention. If there’s a temporary distraction, like a trash can or a blemish that isn’t usually there, I’ll remove it. But I don’t reshape, slim, or change your features.

If we’re shooting in NYC or any city setting, I won’t be removing or remaking the environment. It’s part of the story, and I embrace the honesty of the scene.

  • This is a perfect opportunity to be creative. Some ideas are: a movie theater, the holiday train, the Met, an aquarium, Grand Central, a car wash, a sports game, the club, a jazz bar, a hotel lobby (with permission), a chic café, a sweet Airbnb, a thrift store, a record store, a taxi, the bus… and so on and on. Please make sure permission is secured ahead of time where required.

  • I do not. I can shoot up to 15 minutes outside with breaks, but only if we have one planned indoor location where we can stay for the remainder of the session.

  • We’ll keep an eye on the forecast the week before your session. If it snows, we will reschedule for a different day when conditions are more comfortable and workable for shooting.

  • I do not offer Raws.

  • My standard delivery time is 6 weeks.

  • My editing style is cinematic, warm, and true to the feeling of the moment. I focus on tone, light, and mood, bringing out the atmosphere without making things look overly polished or artificial. You can expect rich, earthy colors, natural skin tones, and an overall look that feels timeless and real.

  • Yes, activities matter so much. I will meet you where you are in terms of effort and vision. We can go watch a ballet show, dance at the club, make candles in a craft shop, do pottery, play an instrument in the back of a taxi, attend a poetry reading, or bike with wine cups. Go big or go smaller, but I promise that when you take the time to plan something, the experience flows more easily, feels more fun, and the photos become far more personal and human.

  • I understand, but my sessions are an experience that requires both people to be on board. The work is present and interactive. If that’s not the case, I may not be the right photographer for you.
